A natural, muted aesthetic complements the brand’s authentic, eco-friendly vibe.

For Natural Barrier Co., I designed a brand identity that reflects their dedication to sustainability while steering clear of typical greenwashing. The color palette features a rich burgundy, a muted earthy green, and soft beige tones, chosen to convey an authentic, grounded aesthetic. These colours emphasise the natural and eco-friendly values of the brand without relying on stereotypical greens, creating a sophisticated yet understated look that resonates with their mission of offering sustainable packaging solutions.

To further enhance the visual identity, I incorporated topographic line patterns into the background. These lines represent the natural barriers present in the company's products, drawing a direct connection between the brand’s sustainable materials and nature’s own protective layers. This design choice ties the branding together, emphasising the concept of nature’s inherent barriers and giving the brand a cohesive and meaningful visual identity.

The Natural Barrier Co. website reflects the brand’s core values through both design and content. I integrated topographic elements throughout the site, continuing the visual theme from the branding to reinforce the idea of natural barriers and sustainability. These patterns create a cohesive, earthy feel that connects the company’s eco-friendly mission with its digital presence, offering a seamless experience for visitors.

In addition to the design, the site features impactful video content that highlights global plastic pollution and the environmental challenges it presents. These videos set the stage for showcasing the company’s innovative solution—sustainable, coated paper for packaging. A separate video walks users through the production process, offering transparency and educating visitors on the benefits of the natural alternatives to plastic packaging. The combination of visual storytelling and clean design creates an engaging, informative platform that supports the brand's mission.
